Corporate culture, the sense of affiliation people feel with their organization, or motivation are aspects that continue to exist in remote work. What we used to know as workplace or organizational climate becomes, in this context, Virtual Climate. It refers, therefore, to workplace climate applied to a context where remote work plays a central role, in which organizations aim to obtain relevant data, foster a sense of belonging, strengthen closeness with their teams and take quick actions that help improve competitiveness.

In distributed work environments, where face-to-face interaction is limited or non-existent, virtual climate becomes an indicator for understanding how people experience their work environment. Factors such as the quality of digital communication, trust between teams, clarity of objectives or the perception of support from leadership directly influence how this climate is perceived.

Measuring the virtual climate allows organizations to identify potential issues related to isolation, team disconnection, workload overload or lack of recognition. At the same time, it provides very useful insights into positive aspects such as autonomy, flexibility or work-life balance, which are often associated with remote work.
