Colective intelligence
When we talk about collective intelligence, we are referring to the ability of a group of people to combine their knowledge, experience, skills, and perspectives to reach solutions or make decisions that can be more comprehensive than those an individual could achieve alone.
In the workplace, this concept stems from the idea that an organization's knowledge is not held solely by its managers or specific experts, but is distributed among all the people who make up the organization. Collaboration, information sharing, and diverse viewpoints make it possible to pool this knowledge and leverage it to solve problems, spot opportunities, or tackle new challenges.
Collective intelligence can be fostered through collaborative working practices, spaces for participation, knowledge communities, multidisciplinary teams, or tools that make it easy to share information and experiences. For it to work effectively, people must be able to voice their opinions and contribute their insights in an environment built on trust and open dialogue.
