Labor welfare

According to WHO, a healthy work environment is considered “one in which workers and managers collaborate in a process of continuous improvement to promote and protect health, safety and the well-being of workers and the sustainability of the work environment”.

The main objective is to offer employees a better standard of living, a fact that has an impact on their well-being and improved performance. Although the most basic conditions are those that have to do with adequate wages and reasonable hours, labor welfare is not limited only to the workplace, but includes everything necessary to improve working conditions in its surroundings, in everything that directly or indirectly influences their work: canteen, transportation, rest rooms... Good working conditions create a feeling and an environment of safety, making it easier for the whole team to become more involved in the work.

The services, facilities and amenities that can be established in a company so that employees carry out their work in a healthy environment and with a good work climate, are those that produce labor well-being.
