Outplacement
Outplacement refers to supporting recently dismissed employees in making a smoother transition into the labour market and securing a new position.
The objective of outplacement services is to facilitate this transition process for candidates by providing services such as job interview training, career guidance, and support in improving CVs and LinkedIn profiles. These services combine psychological and emotional support with practical guidance and advice to improve employment prospects.
In many cases, the employer works with specialised outplacement agencies that provide personalised coaching, access to job opportunities, and training in job search techniques and recruitment processes. In other organisations, this support is delivered by internal Human Resources teams or professionals specialising in talent management and career transition.
