A Temporary Work Agency, as provided in the Law 14/1994, of June 1, , is one that captures, selects and hires an employee to make them available to another company, on a temporary basis.

To establish the assignment of the worker to the user company, the latter must sign a provisional contract with the temporary work agency.

Although it is most common for them to carry out work and service contracts or temporary contracts, a temporary employment agency can carry out all types of contracts in accordance with the provisions of the Workers' Statute.
