Organizational behavior

Organizational behavior is the multidisciplinary study of how people interact within the groups and structures of an organization, in order to use these insights to make the organization operate more effectively and cohesively.
All companies have a unique organizational culture. Each employee contributes to that culture through their personality and values, values that determine how they interact with other employees and with their managers.
In essence, organizational behavior looks at the effect of social and environmental factors that affect the way employees work. And that way in which people communicate and collaborate is key to the success of an organization. Researchers in the fields of psychology, sociology, anthropology, and economics have discovered that scientific approaches can be applied to people management to help bring out the best in each employee and improve organizational success.
