Freelance

A freelance job is one in which a person works on their own account instead of for a company.

 

Freelancers provide specific services, usually on a part-time or short-term basis, and are responsible for billing clients, paying their taxes, for their work hours, and are not considered "employees" by the companies they work for, but rather "contractors".
