In-tray exercises

The in tray exercise is a simulation assessment that employers use to gauge the suitability of candidates for a job position. Used to assess the skills of potential employees in a real work setting.

In tray exercises test the ability to deal with a real work scenario: multiple tasks, emails, reports and information overload . First, a scenario is presented to provide background information to the candidate and then he must decide how to resolve each situation.

The exercise is tailored to the position applied for and will allow employers to assess how you perform and what your skills are, demonstrating if you are efficient, if you know how to prioritize, if you identify key problems... This allows them to decide if you would be a good fit for the position offered.
